Game Engines

  Unreal     One of the most prominent games  of Unreal Engine is without a doubt, Fortnite. Unreal is known for their realistic and detailed textures, lighting and shadows, water physics,  and just insane graphics overall. This engine is used by AAA studios all over the industry, many studios have been ditching their own proprietary engines in favor of the powerhouse that is Unreal. Fortnite is a huge game, with content updates seemingly releasing multiple times a week. A game like Fortnite couldn't be made in any other engine as every single graphical element is top of the line even whilst having a cartoony art style. Unity      One of my favorite Unity games is Subnautica. I believe Unknown Worlds chose to use Unity because of their indie friendly business model. From a technical standpoint, Unity is not the best engine on the market, however they used to have such a good user experience and pricing that it was pretty much the go to engine for ...
